The latest version is a minor revision to ScrapX 1.3.5; it fixes one bug in which a JPEG with a pixel density less than 72 pixels per inch could not be added or displayed. New features in v1.3.5 are summarized in the User Guide Supplement and What's New document. Installation instructions are in the Read Me document, and operating instructions are presented in the User Guide. All are included with the download. The License Agreement, Introductory Scrapbook, and Promised File Demo Scrapbook are available only in English. Individual documents can be downloaded from the Support page, which has additional resources.
ScrapX is shareware. The unregistered (trial) form may be downloaded and used at no cost for up to thirty (30) days. After the trial period a Registration Key must be entered to continue using ScrapX 1.3, and scrapbooks saved with the trial form can be opened only with the registered form of ScrapX 1.3 (that is, after entry of a Registration Key).
The ScrapX application in the downloads is fully featured, but certain limitations are imposed in the trial form. All of the new features in v1.3.5 are available to registered and unregistered users. But, as with earlier versions, scrapbooks are limited to ten items; only two scrapbooks can be open at the same time; export is unavailable; two search criteria can be specified; and one sort criteria can be entered. Entry of a Registration Key removes these limitations. Registration Keys can be purchased through Kagi. Registration Keys purchased for ScrapX 1.3 or earlier versions will be valid for all v 1.x updates. Upgrades (e.g. version 2.0) will require purchase and entry of new Registration Keys.
