The latest version is Gambіt 1.0.1 (released 12/13/05). It adds French localization, improves how pieces drag when analyzing with Crаfty, and fixes a bug. Individual documents can be downloaded from the Support page. Note: the Crаfty folder contains the "CrаftyG" application modified for use with Gambіt, book.bin and books.bin files, the "TB" folder, and the Crаfty "readme.txt" document.
Gambіt is shareware. The unregistered form (also called the trial form) may be downloaded and used at no cost for up to thirty (30) days. The trial form is fully-featured, but after the trial period a Registration Key must be entered to continue using Gambіt 1.0. Registration Keys can be purchased through Kagi. Registration Keys purchased for Gambіt 1.0 will be valid for all v 1.x updates. Upgrades (e.g. version 2.0) will require purchase and entry of new Registration Keys.
